Gosport ABC Club ShowComing soon on Friday 16th November  is our club show at our gym in Cranbourne Road, Gosport (behind Asda). Doors open 7pm, first bout 8pm. This will be a great night of amateur boxing featuring our carded boxers; male, female and junior bouts.

Tickets are £10 for Adults and £5 for under 16′s. Tickets are on sale in the gym (at training times), or phone Darren 07767662355 or Steve 07769170240.

 

Open air show this Saturday 2nd June @ Gosport Borough FC

Gosport ABC open air show 2012This Saturday 2nd June, Gosport Boxing Club will be hosting an open air boxing show at Gosport Borough Football ground, off Privett Road. Doors open at 2pm, with the first bout starting at 3pm.

There will be a bar and refreshments available,  and a disco in the evening following the show. Tickets are onsale now or on the door, adults £10 and £5 for kids. Please phone Darren for tickets or more info 07767662355.

Last Sunday saw the first ever (in the country!) all female club show at Gosport boxing club, and it was a resounding success. Clubs from all over the UK, including The North West, London and Wales, came to compete in a whopping 17 bouts of quality female boxing. We also had 4 strapping ring men kindly provided by Portsmouth Uni Boxers.

We would like to thank all boxers, coaches, clubs, officials, volunteers and supporters who attended, and made it a special day for Gosport Boxing Club.

Muhammad Ali Boxing Training Coming Soon to Gosport ABC!

Gosport ABC is very pleased to announce that we are now licensed and qualified to teach The World’s First Muhammad Ali Boxing Fitness! This is a modified version of boxing training, featuring unique techniques used by Ali himself. Learn the Ali Shuffle, boxing style, combinations, speed pads, skipping and more.

Muhammad Ali boxing fitness training is for all abilities, no previous experience is required, from age 11 to adults, male and female. The course will start on Wednesday 18th April 7:15pm till 8:30pm and run for 8 weeks. The cost will be £40 in advance for the whole course or £7 per session. New Boxercise and Fitness Sessions!

We are pleased to announce a new fitness session on Wednesdays 7:30 – 8:30, Boxercise! This is a mixed non-contact session for males and females age 13+. All abilities welcome, especially beginners. Our coaches are fully trained and registered with the ABA (amateur boxing association).

Boxercise fitness sessions are also held on Monday and Friday mornings, 10-11am. Please wear comfortable training clothes and trainers. Cost per session is £4. Water and sports drinks are available to buy at the gym. Please phone Darren 07767 662355 or Amanda 07789717230.

Zumba Fitness GosportAlso coming soon to Gosport Boxing Club will be Zumba fitness classes! These will be held on a Wednesday night and taken by a qualified zumba instructor! More details to follow so watch this space!
