New Boxercise and Fitness Sessions!

We are pleased to announce a new fitness session on Wednesdays 7:30 – 8:30, Boxercise! This is a mixed non-contact session for males and females age 13+. All abilities welcome, especially beginners. Our coaches are fully trained and registered with the ABA (amateur boxing association).

Boxercise fitness sessions are also held on Monday and Friday mornings, 10-11am. Please wear comfortable training clothes and trainers. Cost per session is £4. Water and sports drinks are available to buy at the gym. Please phone Darren 07767 662355 or Amanda 07789717230.

Also coming soon to Gosport Boxing Club will be Zumba fitness classes! These will be held on a Wednesday night and taken by a qualified zumba instructor! More details to follow so watch this space!

Our first ever gym show was a great success. Thanks to all the clubs, boxers and coaches and everyone who came to watch. It was a great day with some quality boxing.

Our next gym show will be on 10th December.

Gosport ABC Gym Show 29th October

Tickets are now on sale for our gym show on Saturday 29th October 3pm till 6pm, at our gym in Cranbourne Road, Gosport (behind Asda). Advance tickets are £8 for adults, £5 for kids. All mini/junior boxers that attend will be presented with a medal before the show.

There will be loads of exciting male and female amateur boxing bouts, with refreshments and food available. This is an event not to be missed, so please come and support your local boxing club!

Boxing is becoming one of the most popular fitness regimes. If you are looking to lose weight through cardiovascular workout and become strong, lean and toned then boxing is definitely for you – and it’s great fun!

Our fully equipped boxing gym is open to all members of the community, whether you are interested in competing or just for fitness. No matter what your age, gender or ability, at Gosport Amateur Boxing Club we will have a class suitable for you.

We are a non-profit making organization and to keep the events such as our boxing shows successful, we rely on fund raising and local business sponsors. All of our coaches are volunteers; they are CRB checked and are qualified through the Amateur Boxing Association of England.

We have recently moved to our new gym in Cranbourne Road, near Asda. A lot more spacious than our previous gym, there is lots of room to train, and two rings for sparring, as well as male and female changing facilities.

Darren and Amanda are now coaches for the Hampshire and I.O.W boxing team, traning sessions for the Hants squad are held regularly and are by invitation only… ONLY THOSE THAT ATTEND SQUAD TRAINING SESSIONS WILL BE SELECTED!
